Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Polski Coding collects through polskicoding.com, why, on what legal basis, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Po-lski Coding LLC, trading as Polski Coding. For anything related to your personal data, contact hello@polskicoding.com.

2. What we collect, why, and the legal basis

  • Contact form — your name, email address, and message. Used to respond to your enquiry and deliver the free project review you asked for. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate page views, referrers, country, and device type. No cookies are used; visitors are counted with a short-lived anonymous identifier that is discarded within 24 hours, so no one is tracked across days or across other websites. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Google Analytics 4 — loaded only if you accept in the cookie banner. Sets cookies and collects usage data to help us understand traffic. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time (see section 6).
  • Hosting and server logs — technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, processed by Vercel, our hosting provider, to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Files and data you share during a project — used only for that project, kept only as long as the work needs it, and deleted at the end of the project or whenever you ask. Handled under our agreement with you (and an NDA where one is in place).

You are not required to provide any personal data, but we cannot answer an enquiry without a way to reply to you.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. It is processed by the following service providers, only for the purposes above:

  • Web3Forms — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
  • Vercel Inc. — hosts and serves the site (CDN), keeps standard server logs, and provides cookieless Web Analytics.
  • Google LLC — Google Analytics 4, only with your consent.

International transfers. Some of these providers process data outside the EEA and the UK (for example in the United States). Where that happens, transfers rely on the provider's Standard Contractual Clauses or its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless we start working together, in which case for the duration of our agreement and any period required for accounting or legal reasons.
  • Vercel Web Analytics: aggregate statistics only; the anonymous visitor identifier is discarded within 24 hours.
  • Google Analytics: according to the retention period configured in the tool (by default 14 months), and only if you consented.
  • Server logs: for a short period per Vercel's standard practice.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive the data you provided in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these, email hello@polskicoding.com. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority in the EEA, or with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK.

6. Cookies and consent

Vercel Web Analytics runs without cookies and needs no consent. Google Analytics is loadedonly after you accept in the cookie banner and sets cookies such as _ga and_ga_*. You can decline, and the site works fully. To change or withdraw your choice later, use the"Cookie settings" link in the footer; you can also clear this site's data in your browser.

7. Children

This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
